Innovating for socially responsible companies
Mississippi River Pulp produces all grades of white recycled fiber including our food grade that meets U.S. purity requirements.
The mill opened in 1991, and, under new ownership, is entering into a third decade of innovation, committed to helping socially conscious companies – including companies that sell or use paper products deemed “food-touch” safe – by providing a greener option for their product needs.
Our mill recovers wastepaper from a variety of sources throughout the United States. Through our deinking, screening and cleaning processes, we turn these raw materials into premium white deinked pulp. We have the only process that can use all non-brown grades of recovered fiber to produce a product that meets U.S. food and beverage requirements. We can accommodate many different grade-level needs, as we produce customized solutions for our customers – from lower-brightness, tissue-type grades, to high-end premium grades.
